app.voltarasystems.net · the operations dashboard
The operations dashboard that runs the whole job — 11 modules, one record.
Every quote, purchase order, invoice, payslip and warranty claim on a solar job touches the same project record. The Voltara dashboard — app.voltarasystems.net — gives that record eleven modules to work in, from the first CRM call to the last maintenance visit, in your own jurisdiction’s tax, labour and permit rules.
§01 · CONTROL CENTER
Seventeen tiles read the operational pulse.
The Control Center is the first screen of the day: a 17-tile KPI command grid that reads the state of the business — pipeline, projects in flight, cash in and out, open quality gates — with a triage queue for everything that needs a decision.
Each tile is a door, not a chart. The number is computed from the working record, and the tile lands you on the lead, invoice or gate behind it — an alert clears when the work is done, not when someone updates a spreadsheet. Because all eleven modules write to the same record, the grid never disagrees with the books: the receivable a tile shows is the receivable finance will chase, and the stalled project it flags is the one whose gate is actually open.
§02 · ELEVEN MODULES
Seven deep dives, four quiet workhorses.
Each module below carries a full page of its own. All of them share one project record — what finance bills is what procurement received, and what HR pays is what the project costed.
CRM & pipeline
A 13-stage pipeline kanban with stage dossiers of 60-plus fields. A two-second quick estimate — watermarked “preliminary — engineering review pending” — qualifies the lead, and “Open Designer Studio” hands it to engineering auto-seeded, with no re-keying. Won auto-creates the project.
Projects & delivery
Every project moves on an 8-state machine with audit-logged transitions — nothing skips a stage silently. Milestone billing hangs off the states, and a 20-point pre-commissioning checklist gates the final stretch.
Quality gates
30 gates — QG-01 to QG-30 — across pre-install, mid-install and commissioning, each with evidence attachments and a per-gate enforce, advise or off discipline. Sign-offs map to IEC 61215, 61730 and 62109 and NREA Article 5, so compliance is recorded as it happens.
Finance & billing
Four billing methods — milestone, AIA-style progress against a schedule of values, cost-plus and time-and-materials — with retainage held and released on the same invoice, and change orders gated on a client signature. VAT and withholding route per jurisdiction, lines bill in six currencies, and Egypt invoices generate ETA-compliant e-invoices with QR.
Procurement & subcontractors
A full procure-to-pay thread — supplier master, multi-currency price book, RFQ, bid compare, PO, goods receipt and a three-way-matched AP bill — run from a master-detail Packages board. Subcontractors get LOI caps, phase billing, a certified-progress gate before anything is billed, and two-moiety retention.
HR & payroll
Nine sections, from roster and recruitment through leave, timesheets, payroll, performance and training — on your jurisdiction’s labour rules, end-of-service included. Payroll bridges straight into project cost, so the P&L carries the crew.
After-sales
The handover starts the second contract: warranty register, SLA templates, service tickets, maintenance visits and an eight-state claims workflow — all on the same project record that built the system.

Tasks
One unified cross-domain kanban for every task the modules raise. Completing a task propagates downstream, so closing one step queues the next.
Playbooks
Eight-plus operator runbooks for the recurring drills — how your firm runs a job, kept inside the tool that runs it.
Setup & Legal
Pick the jurisdiction once; currency, tax and compliance rules cascade through every module from there.
Documents
Fifteen operational PDF templates, each populated from the project record. The full list is below.
§03 · THE PAPER TRAIL
15 operational PDF templates, one record behind them.
A solar job is argued in documents — to the client, the supplier, the subcontractor and the tax authority. Every commercial step in the dashboard produces its paper, generated from the record rather than retyped into a word processor, so the certificate always matches the ledger it came from.

§04 · NATIVE TO MENA
The jurisdiction is a setting, not a workaround.
Pick Egypt, Saudi Arabia, the UAE or Jordan in Setup & Legal and the dashboard re-rules itself — VAT, withholding, labour rules and compliance calendars cascade through every module.
Validation status is reported honestly: Egypt is validated; Saudi Arabia and Jordan are in validation; the UAE is preliminary.
For Egypt, the dashboard generates ETA-compliant e-invoices; submission to the government gateway is on the integration roadmap.
§05 · RELEASE DISCIPLINE
204 smoke tests guard every release.
Nothing ships to the dashboard until 204 automated checks pass — billing maths, gate logic, jurisdiction routing. Access is role-based across 17 roles with server-gated actions, and each tenant’s data sits isolated in EU-region Postgres under row-level security.
Run the whole job on one record.
The full dashboard is the EPC Platform plan — $899/mo, 10 seats. Demos are founder-led, on your own numbers.
